Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder was founded in 1938 after the need for a funeral home in Kinder was realized. The location remained independently owned and operated by the Ardoin Family until 1986 when it was merged with Hixson Group out of Lake Charles, La. In 1988 a company by the name of Service Corporation International out of Houston, TX, purchased the group ultimately becoming its parent provider.
In 2003 Ardoin Funeral Home once again became independently owned and operated by Lawrence and Stacy Moncla. From its inception until today, Ardoin Funeral Home strives to provide our families with superior service in their time of need.
