Elton- Funeral service for Yancey Wil Davis, 32, will be held Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at 10a.m. in Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton. Father Marshall Boulet will officiate. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday from 6pm-11pm and will continue Tuesday at 8am until time of service.
Yancey was a resident of Bogalusa, but graduated from Elton High School in 1993. His main hobbies were Fishing & Hunting, and he worked for Tetra. Yancey passed away Friday, August 10, 2007 in Elton.
Survivors include his daughter, Amaya Cassidy Davis, her mother, Tammy Branch, her sister, Courtney Kennedy all of Bogalusa; parents, Wayne Davis of Welsh & Kathy Davis of Bogalusa; brother, Chris Davis & wife Sandra of Elton; maternal grandmother, Jessie Day of Bogalusa; paternal grandmother, Winnie Davis of Harvey; nieces & nephews, Wade, Kali, Joshua, Sarah, Emma; great nephew, Brennan Davis & numerous Uncles & Aunts.
Preceded in death by two brothers, Kevin Davis & Darrin Davis; maternal grandfather, Wilson Hebert; paternal grandfather, Frank Davis.
