Kinder- Funeral service for Mr. Wridley Adam Fontenot, 70, will be held Monday, September 28, 2009 at 10:00am in Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Father Cunningham will officiate. Burial with Military honors will follow in Our Lady of Seven Dolors Cemetery in Welsh.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 2pm-9pm with a rosary at 5:30pm and will continue Monday at 8am until time of service.
Mr. Fontenot was a resident of Kinder. He was a retired Assistant Director for the Allen Parish Library and he had a passion for Genealogy. He also was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Mr. Fontenot passed away Friday, September 25, 2009 in his residence.
He is survived by one brother, Fred Manuel of Lake Charles; dear friend, Tom Regan of Kinder and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was Preceded in death by his mother, Jenny Deshotel; brother, Mac Manuel; sister, Josie Sonnier, and niece, Alyssa Sonnier.
