Elton- Funeral service for Mr. Wilton "Gator" Langley, 59, will be held Friday, November 13, 2009 at 2:00pm in Indian Bible Church in Elton. Rev. John Cerneck will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Luke Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton.
Visitation will be held in Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton Thursday from 4pm with a singing service at 7pm officiated by Rev. Gary Cambell and will remain open all night. Visitation will continue in the church Friday from 12noon until time of service.
Gator was a resident of Kinder. He was a former Tribal Councilman and he enjoyed riding motorcycles. Gator lived, laughed, & loved life to its fullest. He passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2009 in a Lake Charles Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Langley; one son, Boyd Langley of Kinder; one daughter, SherRon Lydia Langley of Kinder; one stepson, Kenton Thibodeaux of Kinder; four brothers, Alvin Langley, Gus Jack Langley, Hilton Ray Langley, & Jerry Wayne Langley all of Kinder; two sisters, Flo Pitre & Judy McCarley both of Kinder; 6 grandchildren, Lyndon, Shay, Elijah, Elaina, Michael, & Anya; numerous nieces & nephews.
He is preceded in death by his two sons, Grant Langley & Bronson Langley; parents, Elam & Sally Langley; two brothers, Burnett & Marvin Ray; two sisters, Lillian Leger & Evelyn Langley.
