Elton-Funeral service for Mr. Willie LaFleur,83,will be held Friday,
April 1,2011 at 10am in Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton. Father
Marshall Boulet of St. Paul Catholic Church of Elton will officiate.
Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 31,2011 in Ardoin
Funeral Home of Elton from 5-9pm with a rosary at 7pm. Visitation
will continue Friday at 8am until time of service.
Mr. Willie died March 30,2011 at 3:15am at his home following
a long illness. Willie was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. The love
of his life other than his family was French and Country music. He was
the singer for several bands as well as playing the guitar and drums. He
loved woodwork,hunting,fishing, and gardening. He will be missed by
his family and many friends.
He is survived by his wife, Pearl LaFleur and her two children,
Glen LaFosse and wife Melissa, and Gwen and husband Greg Deshotel;
the mother of his children, Ruby LaFleur with four sons, James and wife Nelda LaFosse, John and wife Debbie LaFosse, Willie Jr. and wife Melissa LaFleur of Kinder, and Ricky LaFleur of Reeves; and three daughters, Allyson Johnson and husband Randy, Pam Hinson of Kinder,and Paula and husband Hubert Reeves of Reeves; and thirty grandchildren and twenty-six great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his son, Glen Earl LaFosse; and grandson Shannon Smith, and granddaughter, Christine Reed.
