Kinder- Funeral service for Mrs. Willidean Cooper Savant, 66, will be held Saturday, December 8, 2007 at 10a.m. in Indian Village Pentecostal Church. Rev. Terry Bushnell, Rev. Carroll Bushnell, & Rev. Tim Mahoney will officiate. Burial will be at Indian Village Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
Visitation will be held Friday in the funeral home from 5pm-10pm and will continue Saturday at the Indian Village Pentecostal at 8a.m. until time of service.
Mrs. Savant was a resident of Kinder, member of Indian Village Pentecostal Church, a Sunday School teacher and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for many years. Faith, family, and friends characterized her life, she taught many people in the community how to cook and was an excellent seamstress. Mrs. Savant passed away Thursday, December 6, 2007 in her residence.
Survivors include her husband, Carlton Savant of Kinder; two sons, Gary Savant & Steven Savant both of Kinder; three daughters, Liz Miller & husband Tresmer of Buller, Pam Fruge & husband Greg of Kinder, Janet Savant Portie of Carlyss; mother, Annie Belle Cooper of Kinder; brother, Donald Cooper & wife Christine of Kinder; sister, Martha Cooper Mallette & husband Joe of Kinder; uncle, S.W. Cooper of Las Vegas, Nevada; 7 grandchildren, Kyle Miller & wife Ashley, Katelyn Fruge, Brittany Miller, Kelsey Savant, Troy James Portie, Tanner Carlton Savant, Kaley Savant; caregivers, Melody Ortego & Roxanne Guillott.
Preceded in death by her father, Clyde Cooper.
