Fenton-Wilbert "Bo" Joseph Fontenot, 62, passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2012.
His funeral service will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church on Friday,
May 25, 2012 at 2pm. Father Roland Vaughn will officiate. Burial will follow in
LeBleu Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
The family will receive visitors on Thursday, May 24, 2012 from 6-9pm, with a vigil service at 6pm followed by a Rosary at Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder and visitation will continue Friday, May 25, 2012 from
8am until time of service.
"Bo" was a lifelong resident of Fenton. He was Plant Manager of the Fenton
Rice Co-Op for more than 30 years and worked hard to provide for his family. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time. He could fix anything he tried to fix. He was also a devoted husband of 39 years and a loving Dad and Grandfather. He loved his
children and grandchildren and never met a stranger. He will be greatly missed by all
who knew him.
Wilbert is survived by his wife, Esther Fuselier Fontenot of Fenton; one son,
Brandan John Fontenot and wife Michelle of Moss Bluff; one daughter, Cheryl Tyler
and husband Jamie of Crowley; four sisters, Brenda Miller of Welsh, Ella Fontenot
of Raleigh, NC, Bernetta McCann and husband Todd of Jennings, Katherine Adair
and husband Dink of Kinder; five grandchildren, Virginia, Ethan, Anna, Nickolas,
and Alli.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John & Lessie Mae Fontenot.
