Funeral service for Mr. Walter Phillip Jones, 57, will be held Friday, October 24, 2008 at 1 PM in St. Philip Neri Catholic Church of Kinder. Father Carlos Garcia will officiate.
Burial will follow in Carter Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
Visitation will begin on Thursday, October 23, 2008 from 2 to 9 PM with a Franciscan Rosary at 6 PM, and will continue on Friday from 8 AM till time of service.
Mr. Jones was a resident of Danville, AR. He passed away on October 17, 2008 at 4 PM in Little Rock, AR. He is survived by his mother, Effie Mary Jones; his wife, Lenora Jean Jones; one son, Walter Phillip Jones, Jr., three daughters, Melissa Jean Mathis, Lenora Diane Beechler, and Barbara Jamelyn Ryder; 9 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren, all of Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his father, James Albert Jones, and two brothers, his twin Wayne Michael Jones, and Glenn Charles Jones.
