Oakdale-A graveside service for Walter Russell Guillory, age 58, will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at Butters Cemetery in Forest Hill.   Reverend Michael Eaves and Brother Allen Johnson will officiate.  All arrangements have been entrusted to Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

Walter, affectionately known as Rusty, was a loving husband, father, brother, son, and friend.  Following graduation from Rapides High School, he worked as a heavy equipment operator in the construction field.  He also owned and operated Guillory's Nursery for over 25 years.  Rusty was an avid outdoorsman; he enjoyed hunting and fishing all of his life.  He was president of Last Chance Hunting Club for over 20 years.  Rusty loved his family deeply and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish Rusty's memory include his devoted wife, Jessica Dickens Guillory; two sons, Zane and Zachary Guillory; two daughters, Ashlee Clampit and Morgan Paul; one brother, Mickey Guillory and husband, Gerry Pass; one sister, Linda Guillory; special nieces and nephews, Kadence Dickens, Ethan Dickens, Londyn Wainwright, Landry Wainwright, Wyatt Dickens, Lincoln Causey, Lydia Wainwright, Link Morgan, and Julianna Pearse; and one grandchild, Paxton Clampit.

Rusty is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Julie Guillory.

Pallbearers for Rusty's service will include Joshua Dickens, Lane Causey, Ricky Frelick, Logan Duncan, Paul Guillory, Garland (Bear) Carroll, and Zack Guillory.
