Vicki Dianne Roach, also known as "Nai Nai Ji", passed away on January 31, 2024, at the age of 67 in Kinder, Louisiana. She was born on August 27, 1956, in Jennings, Louisiana. Vicki was a kind, sweet, and thoughtful person who will be deeply missed by her loved ones.
Vicki is survived by her son, James Russell "Rusty" "Buster" "TBO" Roach Thibeaux, and his wife, Nicole Renee Thibeaux, and her daughter, Bethany A Thibeaux, and her daughter's domestic partner, Trevor N Thomas. She is also survived by her grandson, Aaron K Thibeaux, and his fiancée, Laney M Perrodin; her granddaughter, Kya M Thibeaux, and her domestic partner, Nick Kibodeaux; her grandson, Gavin Poole; her granddaughter, Cadence A Cornellier; her grandson, Cameron A Cornellier; her granddaughter, Mindi Thomas; her grandson, Titus Thomas; her grandson, Aiden Z Thibeaux; and her great-granddaughter, Blakely Elizabeth Anne Thibeaux. Additionally, Vicki is survived by her sisters-in-law: Jeanette Landry Nannie and Ramona "Mona" Clements Roach Oliver, and several dear nieces and nephews, as well as a host of family members and friends.
Vicki was preceded in death by her parents: James Winfred Roach "Jim", and Virgie Leoda Nannie Roach; and her brothers: Danny R Nannie, Truman R. "Jackie" Nannie, and Randall W. "Randy" Roach.
Vicki graduated from The Singapore American School Class of 1976 and furthered her education at LTC Crowley Campus.
Throughout her career, Vicki worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at various healthcare facilities, including Compass, Senior Care, and Compass Behavioral Health. She also worked as an LPN at Sanctuary, Camelot Brookside, Rehabilitation Hospital of Jennings, Guardian House, and Jennings Guest House. Vicki was known for her dedication and compassion in providing care to others. In addition to her nursing career, she also worked as a beautician and caretaker, visiting local nursing homes to cut hair and bring comfort to the elderly.
In her free time, Vicki enjoyed indulging in arts and crafts and cooking sweets. These hobbies allowed her to express her creativity and bring joy to those around her. Vicki loved all animals. Her constant companions were her fur babies: Bella and Toto. They will certainly miss her.
At this time, there will be no service for Vicki. However, she had expressed her wish for a Celebration of Life to be planned soon.
Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder has been entrusted with all of Vicki's arrangements.
Vicki Dianne Roach, "Nai Nai Ji", will be remembered for her kindness, thoughtfulness, and dedication to caring for others. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her loved ones.
