Elton- Funeral services for Mrs. Verlie A. LaFleur, 78, will be held on Monday, February 18, at 10 AM in St. Paul Catholic Church in Elton. Father Marshall Boulet will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton.

Visitation will begin on Sunday at 1 PM and will continue until time of service. There will be a Rosary at 7 PM.

Mrs. LaFleur was a member of the St. Paul Catholic Church, the Ladies Alter Society and Elton Supper Club. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a wonderful cook and loved her friends and to fish.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Herman "Brud" LaFleur, infant daughter, Helen, and adult son, Larry LaFleur. She is survived by three sons; Johnnie and wife Pam of Oberlin, Leward and wife Delinda of Eunice, and Louis and wife Carla of Iota; two daughters, JoAnn and husband Donald Fruge of Eunice, and Jennifer and husband Keith Manuel of Oberlin; two brothers, Calvin Ardoin and Lionel Ardoin both of Mamou; 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
