It is with heavy hearts that the family of Vergie V. Langley, 96, announce her departing from this life. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on December 16, 2014 at Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. John Nichols will officiate. Burial will follow in Green Oak Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home.

The family will receive visitors on Monday, December 15, 2014 from 5- 9 p.m. at Ardoin Funeral home of Kinder. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service.

Those left to cherish her memory include her two sons, Irvin Langley and wife, Kathy, of Kinder and Russell Langley and wife, Kathy, of Dry Creek; two grandsons, Jamie Langley and wife, Amber, of Kinder and Shannon Langley of Korat, Thailand; and, four great grandchildren.

Vergie was a devoted wife of 62 years as well as a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family. She also loved to garden and cook and loved barbeque. Vergie was a woman of strong faith and had a great sense of humor. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Vergie is preceded in death by her loving husband, Jake Langley; and, three sisters- Bertha Deshotel, Molly Rider and Lorena Langley.
