Kinder- Funeral service for Mrs. Vergie O. Bushnell, 84, will be held Thursday, July 12, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in Indian Village United Pentecostal Church. Rev. Terry Bushnell, Rev. Carroll Bushnell, & Rev. George Glass Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Indian Village Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
Visitation will be held in the church Wednesday from 5pm-9pm and will continue Thursday at 8a.m. until time of service.
Mrs. Bushnell was a resident of Kinder, a lifelong member of Indian Village United Pentecostal Church, an avid flower gardener, loved to read and was an excellent cook. She passed away Monday, July 9, 2007 in a Lake Charles Center.
Survivors include three sons, Ronnie Bushnell & wife Carolyn of DeRidder, Clifton Bushnell & wife Debbie of Kinder, Rev. Terry Bushnell & wife Junelle of Kinder; five brothers, R.V. Bushnell of Lake Charles, Titus Bushnell of Kinder, Burgess Bushnell of Kinder, Chester Bushnell of Kinder, C.A. Bushnell of Topsy, Carroll Bushnell of Kinder; four sisters, Viola Savant, Lorie Savant, Dean Miller, Ollie Langley all of Kinder; 4 grandchildren, Debbie Petry, Melanie Schwarzer, Cara Bushnell & Dustin Bushnell; 6 great grandchildren.
