Obituary
Kinder- Una Mary Monteaux died on December 16, 2009. She was born in Kinder on May 14, 1921.
Mrs. Monteaux was preceded in death by her husband Dudley (Pete) Monteaux; parents, Olan & Lillian McGee; one sister, Christine and two brothers, Kenny and Antna McGee.
She is survived by her sister, Marie Duplichan of Kinder; a brother, Osey McGee (Mary) of Lake Charles; a daughter and son-in-law Judy and Daniel Swartwood of Orlando, FL; son and daughter-in-law, Dudley and Dolores Monteaux of Baton Rouge; 6 grandchildren & 18 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Monteaux was retired from the Allen Parish School Board where she served for 34 years as cafeteria Manager of Kinder School. She belonged to St. Phillip Neri Catholic Church and taught CCD classes for 35 years.
A Catholic Mass will be held Saturday, December 19, 2009 at 11:00am in St. Phillip Neri Catholic Church. Visitation will be held Saturday from 9:00am until time of service. Father Carlos Garcia will officiate. Burial will follow in McGee Cemetery.
