Oberlin- Funeral service for Tyrel Fain "Boodie" Bertrand, 35, was held Saturday, January 6, 2007 at 2p.m. in New Beginnings Assembly of God Church in Oberlin. Deacon Dale Deshotel officiated. Burial was in Durio Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
Visitation was held Saturday from 11a.m. with a rosary at 12noon until time of service in the church.
Tyrel was a resident of Oberlin. He died January 3, 2007 in Rye, Texas.
Survivors include his parents, Billy Bertrand & Bobbie Rider both of Oberlin; two brothers, Billy Bertrand Jr. of Paris, CA & Matthew Bertrand of Odessa, TX; sister, Pylla Bertrand Turner of Grant; paternal grandparents, Dallas & Joan Bertrand of Oberlin; 2 nieces & 2 nephews.
Preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Milton & Margel Rider.
