Elton-Funeral services for Trudy J. Langley, 56, will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Elton. Rev. John Cernek will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Luke Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 from 4-9 p.m. with a singing service at 7 p.m. Visitation will resume on Thursday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service.

Trudy was a loving sister, aunt and friend. She loved animals, especially cats. In her younger days, Trudy enjoyed going to craft shows with her mother any chance she had. She loved to dress up and go shopping. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her sister, Rose. Trudy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish Trudy's memory include her husband, Roderick Guillet of Oakdale; one sister, Rose Medford and significant other, James Monceaux, of Elton; three nieces, Lucia Alfaro and husband, Robert Moreno, of Elton, Lauren Soza and husband, Toney, of Elton and Stevi Langley of Mamou; three nephews, Raul Alfaro, Jr., Christopher Alfaro and significant other, Ome Sayaphet, and Derek Medford, all of Elton; as well as numerous great nieces and nephews.

Trudy is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Edna Langley; three brothers, Paul, Ronald and Clement Langley; and two sisters, Evelyn Alfaro and Marilyn Logsdon.
