Oakdale-Funeral service for Tommy Willis, 59, will be held at 2 p.m. at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home on Monday, September 27, 2021.  Rev. Joe Wellman will officiate.  Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home.

The family will receive visitors beginning Sunday evening from 4-9 p.m. in the chapel of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home, 311 Highway 1152, Oakdale.  Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Monday morning from 10 a.m. until time of service.

Tommy was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend.  He loved his only child, Tommy Gean, and his two spoiled grandchildren with all his heart.  He loved spending time with them, especially hunting and fishing.  Tommy was a millwright worker that traveled from state to state for many years before settling back near his son, grandchildren, and family.  Tommy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish Tommy's memory include his mother, Mary Emma Ekenstam Willis; his wife, Anita Willis; one son, Tommy Gean Willis and wife, Brooke; one brother, Darrell Willis and wife, Brenda; three sisters, Denise Laird and husband, Pat, Gayla Willis, and Andrea Michelle Willis; and two grandchildren, Cole Lee Willis and Cameron Paige Willis.

Tommy is preceded in death by his father, Andrew Willis; one brother, Stephan Willis; and two sisters, Collette Book and Victoria McDaniel.

Pallbearers for the service will include Chester McDaniel, Steven McDaniel, Duke Willis, Jason Willis, P.J. Laird, and Byron Willis.  Honorary pallbearers will be Jaime McDaniel and Jeremy Townsley.
