Elton- Funeral service for Timothy G. Linscomb, 66, will be held Monday, October 22, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton. Rev. William Currie will officiate. Burial will be in China Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday from 5pm-10pm and will continue Monday at 8a.m. until time of service.
Mr. Linscomb was a lifelong resident of Elton, member of the Gideons, pastor of Elton Home Church, member of Covenant Church, member of Christian Care Alliance, Retired from Citgo, & a Navy veteran. He passed away Friday, October 19, 2007 in a local hospital.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Virginia (Tillie) (Ginger) Marcantel Linscomb of Elton; two sons, Ric Linscomb & fiancé, Betty Harris of Denham Springs, David Linscomb & wife Melissa of Raymond, Nebraska; two daughters, Tina Linscomb Luce of Kinder & Nancy Linscomb of Elton; three sisters, Sharon Hollier of Woodville, MS, Faye Casselmann of Elton, Martha Deshotel of Lake Charles; 17 grandchildren.
Preceded in death by grandson, Timothy Wayne Linscomb.
