Oberlin, LA – Timothy Louis Germany, 59, of Orange, TX passed away Thursday, November 10, 2022.

Tim was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He was a graduate of Oberlin High School and McNeese State University. Tim was an engineer in the oil and gas industry for over 35 years. He began and ended his career with Brown & Root, spanning across many states, and years spent internationally in between. Timothy enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, traveling, and scuba diving. He most enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He loved hosting and entertaining gatherings of friends and family. Tim was a devout man of God, dedicated to his family, who never met a stranger. He had an affectionate, magnetic personality and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Timothy is preceded in death by his father, Tommy D. Germany. Those left to cherish Timothy's memory include his mother, Sherry Manuel Germany of Oberlin; his loving wife of 33 years, Jane Shoemake Germany of Orange, TX; daughter, Erin Leigh Sticker and husband, Benji, of Nederland, TX; son, Thomas Randall Germany of Orange, TX; two sisters, Teresa G. Zaunbrecher and husband, Russel, of Lake Arthur and Suzanne Germany of Lafayette; and five grandchildren, Evangeline, Paisley, Wyatt and Aubree Sticker, and Hudson Germany.

The family will receive visitors on Monday, November 14, 2022, at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home in Oberlin, LA beginning at 10:30 a.m. until time of service with the Holy Rosary being prayed at noon. Funeral services for Timothy Louis Germany will be held at 1 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will follow at Campground Cemetery in Glenmora under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.
