Kinder-Funeral services for Timothy "Tim" Fontenot, 50, will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 29, 2022 at St. Paul Catholic Church. Rev. Keith Pellerin and Rev. Jose Vattakunnel will officiate. A private burial will be held at a later date. All arrangements have been entrusted to Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder on Thursday, July 28, 2022 from 4-9 p.m. with the Holy Rosary being prayed at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will resume at St. Paul Catholic Church on Friday morning from 9 a.m. until time of service.

Timothy Fontenot was raised on his family farm in Elton, La. There he developed his love of the outdoors and mechanical skill set. He furthered his education at Oklahoma State while obtaining his Pilot's License. He was fearless, confident and had a passion for adventure. Tim married Francine Tonn in 2011. He was selfless and worked hard to raise his children and take care of his family. He was a renaissance man and was always teaching himself new things. He was always willing to lend a hand and tell a few jokes along the way. If you found "Papa" at home, you found him with a lap full of grandchildren grinning ear to ear. The only thing Tim loved more than fishing and Toledo Bend was his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish Tim's memory include his parents, Larry and Patsy Fontenot; wife, Francine Elizabeth Fontenot; three sons, Cody Lea Ardoin, Lance Ryan Ardoin and wife, Mollie, and Gabriel Allen Fontenot; two daughters, Aimee Rebekah Mulhearn and husband, Burns, and Elizabeth Ann Fontenot; four brothers, Craig Fontenot and wife, Melissa, Scott Fontenot and wife, Stacie, Ted Fontenot and wife, Jessica and Kyle Fontenot and wife, Shelby; mother-in-law, Bonnie Tonn; and six grandchildren, Wilson, Marjorie Mae, Landrum, Wyatt, Kathryn and Magdalene.

Tim is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; and father-in-law.
