Kinder-Funeral services honoring Timothy Allen Butterfield, 66, will be held on Wednesday morning, July 29, 2026, at 11 o’clock a.m. at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder. Timothy will be laid to rest at Westlake Cemetery in Westlake, Louisiana at 2 p.m. following his funeral service.

    Tim’s family will receive friends and visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, from 8 o’clock a.m. until time of service. All of Tim’s arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

    Timothy Allen Butterfield, affectionately called “Tim” by those who knew him, was born on October 9, 1959. He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many. Tim’s passion was being an “all around” handyman; he was very versatile in several different jobs. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and camping. One of his favorite pastimes was “get togethers” where he would barbeque and spend the day with those he loved dearly. His absolute favorite title was being called “Papaw”. He will be forever missed and unconditionally loved by those who knew him.

    Those left to cherish Tim’s memory include his three sons, Shawn Roush, Kevin (Karen) Roush, and Terry (Nicole) Roush; three daughters, Jennifer Butterfield, LaTasha (Donald) Celestine, and Deidra Butterfield; two brothers, Ronald Butterfield and Wayne Butterfield; 19 grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

    Tim is preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Florence Butterfield; his spouse, Darlene Roush Butterfield; one son, Corey Roush, four brothers, Charles Butterfield, Russell Butterfield, Jr., David Butterfield, and Jerry Butterfield; and two sisters, Florence Butterfield and Lois Pierson.
