Elton-Funeral service for Theresa John, 42, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, August 3, 2018 at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Elton. Rev. Dustin Miller will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Elton from 3-10 p.m. Thursday, August 2, 2018 with a singing service at 7 p.m. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Friday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service.

Theresa was a loving wife and sister. She always helped her family as well as anyone else who was in need. She was a very giving person. She loved her cats, enjoyed playing on the computer, and planting flowers. Theresa was a devoted wife to her husband, Marvin, for five years and loved him dearly. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Theresa will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish Theresa's memory include her husband, Marvin Guillory of Elton; one brother, Phillip John of Elton; and two sisters, Sylvia John and Tanya John both of Elton.

Theresa is preceded in death by her parents, Robert John and Pauline John; one brother, Arnold John; and one sister, Clarice Chevallier.
