Kinder-A Memorial Mass for Theophile "Theo" LaFargue will be held at 11 o'clock a.m. on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Kinder. Rev. Fr. Alan Trouille will officiate. Theo's inurnment will be held at Kinder McRill Cemetery immediately following his services.

Theo's family will accept friends and visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home in Kinder on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, from 9 o'clock a.m. until time of services. All of Theo's arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder.

Theo was a loving son and brother. He attended St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Kinder as a young man where he was an altar server. Theo was a 1971 graduate of Kinder High School and went on to attend Louisiana State University and the University of Seattle where he would obtain a degree to become a Paralegal. He also attended Seminary School at Notre Dame Seminary Graduate School of Theology but elected to advance his career into another direction. Theo enjoyed mingling with his friends and attending church regularly. He was very proud of his Catholic heritage. Theo was an avid advocate for education or anything regarding education. Theo was a very kind and caring person and will be unconditionally loved and forever missed by all who knew him.

Those left to cherish Theo's memory include his three sisters Cledius Ann "Tanny" LaFleur, Susanne L. Powers, and Shelia L. Jacobs and husband Matthew, all of Kinder.

Theo is preceded in death by his parents Cledius and Bertha LaFargue; one brother, Richard "Ricky" LaFargue; two sisters, Sharon Fontenot, and Rosemary LaFargue; and one half-sister, Yvonne Fruge.
