Kinder-Celebration of Life services honoring Sylvia C. Perron, 83, will be held at 2 o'clock p.m. on Monday afternoon, March 10, 2025, at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder. Deacon Mike Guillory will officiate. Sylvia will be laid to rest at Green Oak Cemetery in Kinder immediately following her services.

Sylvia's family will receive friends and visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder on Monday morning, March 10, 2025, from 9 o'clock a.m. until time of service. All of Sylvia's arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder.

Sylvia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a faithful and devoted wife to her husband Thomas H. Perron for 57 years until his passing in August of 2022. Sylvia was a lifelong resident of Kinder where she raised her family. Sylvia enjoyed spending time with family and friends and loved to cook for them on her back porch. She loved the electronic handheld games as well as fun nights at the casino. She was a hard worker and worked diligently to provide for her family. Her first jobs were working for Pish's Café and for Murphy's Butcher Shop. She also worked at Roland's Grocery Store and Kinder Five and Dime. Sylvia was a very kind and caring person and will be forever missed and unconditionally loved by all who know her.

Those left to cherish Sylvia's memory include one daughter, Denise Cronan and husband Thomas; two brothers, Normand DeBarge and wife Thelma and John J. Debarge; two grandchildren, Justin Cronan and wife Cecil, and Matthew Cronan and wife Angelle; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Sylvia is preceded in death by her husband Thomas H. Perron; and her parents, John, and Clemons DeBarge.
