Sullivan "Buddy" Aguillard

Oberlin- Funeral Mass for Mr. Sullivan "Buddy" Aguillard, 92, will be held Thursday, April 2, 2009 at 2 PM, in St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church of Oberlin. Father Carlos Garcia will officiate. Burial will follow in Oberlin Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
Visitation will begin on Wednesday in Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder from 2 to 9 PM, with a Rosary at 7 PM, and will continue Thursday from 7 AM till time of service.
Mr. Aguillard was a resident of Oberlin. He was a lifelong member of the Knights of Columbus, and the owner of Buddy's Grocery.
Mr. Aguillard is survived by four sons; Bernard Aguillard of Pasadena, TX, James "Sug" Aguillard of Doucette, TX, Anthony Aguillard of Pasadena, TX, and Leonard Aguillard of Houston, TX; six daughters; Bernadette Mougeot of Oberlin, Virginia Rea of Oberlin, Evelyn Colligan of Church Point, Elizabeth Breeland of Ruston, Theresa McGee of Oberlin, and Rita Miller of Pasadena, TX; sister, Sister Rita Michael Aguillard of Allegany, New York; 41 grandchildren, 57 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Yvonne Aguillard, and two sons, Mike Aguillard and Phillip Aguillard.
