Steve Randall Soileau Jr., 54, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, April 26, 2025. Steve was born in Lake Charles but lived a short time in Duson, Louisiana. He attended Westlake High School where he played football. Steve later attended Sulphur High School where he met Sherry Ann Starr, the mother of his son, Steve Randall Soileau III, and his daughter, Elaine. As life throws us curve balls, he later married Kimberly Gary and made a beautiful, loving family with her three children, Brianna, Whitney, and Chelbie. They all lived in Topsy, Louisiana for 15 years where they lived life to its fullest riding horses, dirt bikes, four-wheelers, and super-fast lawn mowers. Steve was a very good carpenter who built houses for Carl Arceneaux for many years. This blended family formed a bond that nothing nor anyone could ever break. Steve will be forever missed and unconditionally loved by all who knew him.

Those left to cherish Steve's memory include wife, Kimberly Dawn Soileau; his mother, Deborah Ann Fontenot Soileau; one son, Steve Randall Soileau III, four daughters, Elaine Marie Soileau, Brianna Lynn, Chelbie Dawn, and Whitney Seanay; one sister, Adrienne Dominico; nine grandchildren, Braelynn Daigle, Zephrin Daigle, Laci Daigle, Aubree Soileau, Kaylee Butterfield, Hadley Hanks, Harden Hanks, Steve Soileau IV, and Destiny Soileau; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Steve is preceded in death by his father, Steve Randall Soileau Sr.

Steve's family would like to extend a very special thank you to all who so effortlessly gave their thoughtless words, deeds, and prayers during this difficult time.
