Obituary
Oberlin/Richard-Funeral Service will be held for Steve Hebert, 71, on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at 11am in St. Joan of Arc
Catholic Church of Oberlin. Father Felix Anyikwa will officiate.
The family will receive visitors beginning Wednesday, February 6, 2013 from 1-9pm at Allen Parish Funeral Home/Oberlin Chapel, with a rosary at 6pm, continuing visitation on Friday, February 8, 2013, at Guidry Funeral Home in Church Point at 10am until time of graveside services at 1pm.
Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery in Richard under the direction of Allen Parish Funeral Home/Oberlin Chapel.
Steve was a loving husband of 53 years. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing very much. He was a loving dad, grandfather, and great grandfather.
Survivors include his wife, Sadie Hebert; his parents, Killey and Amy Hebert; one son, Greg Hebert and wife Liz of Crowley; two daughters, Deidra Vasseur and husband Roland of Church Point, Monica Blair and husband David of Pearland, TX;
three sisters, Edith Williams, Rita Menard, and Kathy Johnson; and thirteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Steve is preceded in death by his brother, Melvin Hebert.
