Lake Charles-Funeral service for Shirley Marie Ortego Guillory, 75, will be held
Saturday, June 4, 2011 at 11am in St. Paul Catholic Church of Elton. Father
Marshall Boulet. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 3, 2011 in Ardoin Funeral Home
of Elton from 5-9pm with a rosary at 6:30pm. Visitation will continue Saturday
in Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton at 8am until time of service.
Shirley was a loving Mom and Mamaw to her grandchildren. She
enjoyed working in her yard . She loved life.
She is survived by her son, Jody Wayne Laughlin of Westlake;
two daughters, Troy Ann Fuselier and husband Huey of Kinder, Cathy Marie
Martin and husband Tim of Lake Charles; seven grandchildren, Courtney F.
Deshotel and husband Nick, Casey Martin, Matthew Martin, John Michael
Martin, Jacob Laughlin, Jared Laughlin, and Meagan Laughlin; one sister,
Nettie Kersh of Elton.
Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, Eva and Luma Ortego;
and two brothers, Bob and Sherman Ortego; and two sisters Mildred
Lafleur and Ann Fontenot.
