Kinder-Funeral Services for Sherwin "Shawee" L. LeFranc, 77, will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder. Father Jom Joseph will officiate. Burial will follow at LeFranc Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 from 4-8 p.m. Visitation will resume on Thursday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service.

Sherwin was a loving and devoted husband to his wife, Betty, for fifty-three years. He worked as a business administrator for a number of companies until his well-deserved retirement in 2015. He was a man of strong faith and a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Fenton. Sherwin was loved by everyone who knew him. He was a man of great integrity and the foundation to his family. He loved and adored his family; always working hard to be involved in their lives. Sherwin enjoyed traveling, spending time with his wife, family and friends, listening to French music and watching his cattle.  He always saw the good in everyone no matter what. Sherwin will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish Sherwin's memory include his wife, Betty L. LeFranc; four brothers, Bobby LeFranc and wife, Leta, of Kinder, Terry LeFranc and wife, Mindy, of Iowa, Ronnie LeFranc and wife, Lorrie, of Lacassine and Richard LeFranc of Iowa; one sister, Gail Buller of Iowa; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Sherwin is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Maxie LeFranc.
