Sherry was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She was a faithful and devoted wife to her husband Shannon for 37 years. Sherry was a woman of strong faith and loved the Lord with all her heart and was an Ordained Minister of the Gospel. She worked diligently as a wife and mother to make a happy home for her family and was an amazing mother to her children. Sherry was very outgoing and loved to travel with her family and site see. She enjoyed all sorts of trips, including traveling to national parks. Sherry was a wonderful cook always making sure to provide a home cooked meal for her family. She was a selfless, loving, and caring person. Sherry loved to spend time with her family and cherished every memory she made with them. Her love and kindness were shown in everything she done. Sherry will be forever missed and unconditionally loved by all who knew her.

Fontenot; her daughter, Tabitha Fontenot, her son, Cannon Fontenot, and wife Jasmine; two sisters, Judy Credeur and husband Vournce “Bo Bo”, and Wendy Walker Manuel, one brother, Keith Walker; one grandson, Davis Fontenot; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
