Oakdale-Funeral services for Sharon H. Peters, 70, will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, January 28, 2022 at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Oakdale. Rigsby and Chuck Peters will officiate. Burial will follow at Pecan Grove Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home on Friday, January 28, 2022 from 10 a.m. until time of service.

Sharon was a loving mother to her only son, Chuck, as well as a loving grandmother to her grandchild. She was a very caring, giving person and was always willing to help anyone in need. Sharon enjoyed the outdoors. She was always very adamant about keeping her yard cleaned and mowing it when she was able. More than anything, Sharon always wanted to spend as much time as possible with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish Sharon's memory her son, Chuck Peters; the father of her son, Rigsby Peters; two sisters, Sherry Clark and Shelia Chop; and one grandchild.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Sarah Jane Hanks.
