Kinder-Funeral service for Sharon Buck Jenkins, age 53, will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 in the chapel of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder.   Burial will follow in Kinder McRill Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home.

The family will receive visitors on Monday, August 10, 2020 from 4-9 p.m. at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder.  Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service.

Sharon was a lifelong resident of Kinder.  She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  She had a kind soul and always had a smile on her face.  Sharon enjoyed cooking and music.  She loved spending time with her family and friends.  Sharon will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish Sharon's memory include her husband, Leonard Jenkins of Kinder; one son, Chris Thibodeaux of Monroe; two daughters, Sarah Hebert of Basile and Katelyn Hebert of Kinder; two sisters, Ann Buck of Kinder and Janet Buck of Lake Charles; and seven grandchildren-Kamden, Ally Klaire, Brantly, Sawyer, Gabe, Lexus, and Novaliegh.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Evelyn Buck and one son, Dustin James Jenkins.
