Kinder-Memorial service for Sharon Ruth Wilder Gill, 73,will be held at 2 p.m. , Monday, November 21, 2016, at Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Gathering of family and friends will be from 12:30 p.m. until time of service.
Sharon was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She lived in the Lake Charles community most of her life and returned to this area after retiring from Lockheed Martin Aerospace in Orlando, Florida.
Those left to cherish Sharon's memory include her three sons, Scott Gill and wife, Pam, of Kenner, Richard Gill and wife, Anne Marie, of Lake Charles, and Robert Gill of Boca Raton, Florida; one daughter, Belinda Gill Phillips and husband, Bill, of Lake Charles; two sisters, Patty Persons and Cindy Emmons, both of Leesburg, Florida; one brother, Kenneth Savant, of Leesburg, Florida; and 11 grandchildren. A special thanks to her cousin and guardian angel, Zita Sorace.
Sharon is preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, James Edward Gill; one daughter, Alicia Lynn Gill; her parents, Lee and Alice (Hebert) Savant; and brother, Ronald Savant.
