Kinder-Funeral service for SFC James Robert Jordan, Sr., 72, will be held Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at 2PM in Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Reverend Robert Jones will officiate. Burial will follow in Kinder McRill Cemetery.
Visitation will begin on Monday, December 27, 2010 from 4-9PM in Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder and will continue on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 from 8AM until time of service.
Mr. Jordan proudly served our country in the United States Army, having retired with over 23 years of service. He served two tours in Vietnam and also served in Europe. He was a member of Kinder Bible Church. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was an avid sports fan.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Mrs. Lola Jordan of Kinder; one brother, Thomas Jordan of Georgia; one sister, Chris Smith of Georgia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Jordan is preceded in death by his son, James R. Jordan, Jr., his infant daughter, Lola Elizabeth Jordan, and his parents, Roland and Angeline Jordan.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kinder Bible Church or Camp Pearl.
