S.C. "Vic" Burnett

Kinder- Funeral service for Mr. S.C. "Vic" Burnett, 80, will be held Wednesday, January 2, 2007 at 1p.m. in Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. Ron Butler will officiate. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Cherry Grove Cemetery in Mittie.
Visitation will begin Wednesday at 10a.m. until time of service.
Mr. Burnett was a native of Mittie and a resident of Baton Rouge. He was an Army Air Corp. Veteran, and he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Mr. Burnett passed away Sunday, December 30, 2007 in the War Veterans Home in Jackson, La.
Survivors include three daughters, Karen Simmons & husband Elbert of Sulphur, Jane Breaux of Sulphur, Deirdre Breau & husband Byron of Baton Rouge; two brothers, Eston Burnett of Orange, TX, Cornell Burnett of Mittie; sister, Lavelle Bailey & husband Wayne of DeRidder; 5 grandchildren & 12 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents, Claude & Molly Burnitt; brother, Verna Lee Burnett.
