Kinder-Funeral service for Sandra Kay Miller, 70, will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 28, 2015 in the Benny Earl Pelican Memorial Chapel of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. Lamar Huffman will officiate. Burial will follow in Carter Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home.
The family will receive visitors at Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder on Saturday, June 27, 2015 from 4-10 p.m. and will resume visitation on Sunday morning from 11 a.m. until time of service.
Sandra, affectionately known as "Granny" to her grandchildren, was born on February 22, 1945 in Wichita, Kansas to Charles and Jesse Dennison. In 1963, she graduated from North Highland Heights High School in Sacramento, California. She was a loving mom and grandmother. She also enjoyed scrapbooking and was a charitable contributor to the ASPCA. She loved online shopping and spending time with her family. Sandra passed away peacefully at her home on June 25, 2015. She will be dearly missed by all whose lives she touched over the years.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children with her first husband,Dale Kerr-Charles Dale Kerr and wife, Mary, of Pampa, TX, Traci Kerr Edgerly and husband, Todd, of Groves, TX, Trudi Kerr Chambers and husband, William, of Jasper, AL, and Staci Kerr Ebarb and husband, Clark, of Kinder; one daughter with her late husband, Carl Miller- Renee Miller Wallace and husband, Scott, of Zwolle; 12 grandchildren-Treasure Kerr, Kristopher Kerr, Ashton Chambers, Justin Pierson, Skylyn Granger, Charles Kerr, Jr., Brittany Miller, Deja Chambers, Morgan Chambers, Mahala Ebarb, Grant Chambers, and Jordan Edgerly; and 4 great grandchildren-Madisyn Franks, Korbyn Kerr, Lailyn Kerr and Ryleigh Pierson.
Sandra was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Carl A. Miller; and her parents, Charles E. and Jesse M. Dennison.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Ms. Joyce Langley of Elton for all the help, love and care she gave to "Sandy"-her dear friend.
Pallbearers for Sandra's service include Clark Ebarb, Todd Edgerly, Justin Pierson, Jordan Edgerly, Jason Pete and Kodie Jeffcoats.
