Elton- A beautiful soul, Sandra Nell Aylsworth LaFosse, left our world to join her heavenly Father in his glorious kingdom. Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2008 at 2 pm in St. Paul Catholic Church in Elton. Mnsr. Marshall Boulet and Rev. Allen Rosegrant will officiate. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery.

Visitation will begin on Wednesday from 3pm to 10pm and will continue on Thursday from 8am till time of service. A Rosary will be held at 7 pm Wednesday led by Deacon Michael Tramel.

Sandra was the embodiment of love, patience, and understanding. She was a doting mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a loving wife and a friend to all.

Mrs. LaFosse is survived by her husband, Shirley LaFosse; her daughter, Melissa LeJeune LaFosse and husband Glen of Elton; her son, Philip Shane LeJeune and wife Alecia of Mandeville; her step-daughter, Gwen LaFosse Deshotel and husband Greg of Elton, one brother, George Weaver Aylsworth and wife Jeannie of Fort Walton Beach, FL; four grand-daughters, six grandsons; six great-grandchildren and one niece. She will be greeted at the Golden Gates by her parents, George and Iris "Pete" Aylsworth.

Mrs. LaFosse was married to her loving husband Shirley for 26 years. She was a graduate of McNeese State University with a degree in education. She taught lower elementary and later taught Home Economics. She was a member of the Methodist Church and served as the Elton Justice of the Peace for the last 10 years. She will be sincerely missed; but the love she gave will continue to provide comfort and strength to all who were blessed by knowing her. Words of comfort may be left for the family at
