Samuel was a loving husband and stepfather. He was a devoted husband to his wife Clara Deogracias until her passing in June of 2023. Samuel worked hard as a Maintenance Engineer to provide for his family. He served his country in the United States Army and was a special operations Vietnam War veteran. Samuel was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was an active member of the Dry Creek Bible Church where he attended church regularly. Samuel loved and adored his family and enjoyed making memories with them. He will be unconditionally loved and forever missed by all who knew him.
Those left to cherish Samuel's memory include one son, Payton "Pete" Osborne, one daughter, Angel McLeod; and a host of extended family members and friends.
Samuel is preceded in death by his wife, Clara Deogracias Jackson; his parents, Arthur "Jack" and Gladys Osborne Jackson; sister, Jewel Mae Jackson; and two brothers, James and Kenneth Jackson.
Condolences and expressions of sympathy may be shared with Samuel's family at www.ardoinfuneralhome.com or on Facebook at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.
