Kinder-Funeral service for Ruthie Michelle Sellers, 33, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 31, 2015 at Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. Alfred Gibson will officiate. Burial will follow in Green Oak Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home.
The family will receive visitors at Ardoin Funeral Home Wednesday, December 30, 2015 from 3-9 p.m. Visitation will resume on Thursday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service.
Ruthie was a loving daughter and mom. She always had a smile on her face. She enjoyed fishing and swimming, watching movies, and she loved being on the sandbars at the river or sitting by a fire. Her mom's dog, Tiny, was also very special to her. She loved all of her nieces and nephews and loved spending time with her family. Ruthie worked at Kinder Retirement Center for the past year. She will be greatly missed.
Those left to cherish Ruthie's memory include her mother, Susie Rainwater of Kinder; two sons, Gavin Bell of Lake Charles and Michael Bell of Elizabeth; one daughter, Morgan Rainwater, of Carlyss; two brothers, Darrel Sellers, Jr. and Ben Sellers, both of Kinder; two sisters, Sherrie Sellers and Elizabeth Sellers, both of Kinder; her companion, Dany Lyons, of Kinder; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ruthie is preceded in death by her father, Darrel Sellers, Sr.; her grandparents, Ruth and Robert Rainwater; her grandmother, Juanita Rodish; and, one brother, Michael Sellers.
