Kinder- Funeral service for Mr. Russell Pousson, 61, will be held Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at 11AM in Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. Jamie Gump & Father Carlos Garcia will officiate. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery in Woodlawn.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 12noon-10PM and will continue Wednesday at 8am until time of service.
Mr. Pousson was a native of Kinder and resident of Iowa. He was a Marine Veteran who served in Vietnam. Mr. Pousson passed away Friday, September 3, 2010 at 6:10PM in Lafayette General Hospital surrounded by his wife and two children.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Cindy Miller Pousson; two children, Candace Pousson Howay & husband Christopher of Lake Charles, Rusty Pousson & wife Melissa of Lake Charles; mother, Carolyn Pousson of Kinder; three brothers, Alvin "Jr." Pousson & wife Phyllis of Kinder, Randy Pousson & wife Louise of Kinder, Ricky Pousson & wife Renee` of Fenton; two sisters, Sue Boudreaux of Hornbeck , Ann Ardoin & fiancé Greg Savant of Iowa; his "little Angel" granddaughter, Bella Mae Pousson.
Mr. Pousson is preceded in death by his father, Alvin Pousson.
