Obituary
Oberlin-Funeral service for Russell Karam, 75, will be held Friday, February 21, 2014 at 12 noon at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Rev. Jacob S. Conner will officiate. Burial will follow in Oberlin Cemetery under the direction of Allen Parish Funeral Home-Oberlin Chapel.
The family will receive visitors at Allen Parish Funeral Home, 119 S. 7th Street, on Friday morning from 9 a.m. until time of service with a rosary being recited at 11 a.m.
Survivors include Russell's three brothers, John Thomas Karam of Oberlin, Dr. Gerard A. Karam and wife, Lauren of Belle Chasse, and Raymond A. Karam and wife, Sandra of Baton Rouge; one sister, Margaret Ann Karam of Oberlin; as well as his nieces and nephews, Kristin Karam, Courtney Karam Moore, Zachary, Nicholas and Christian Karam.
Russell is preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Ida Karam.
