Obituary
Reeves- Funeral service for Mr. Roy J. Granger Sr., 66, will be held Thursday, August 17, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Kinder. Rev. Father Carlos Garcia will officiate. Mr. Granger will be cremated.
Visitation will be Wednesday, from 5pm-10pm with a rosary at 7pm and will continue Thursday at 8am until time of service.
Mr. Granger was a resident of Reeves, served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War, and a member of the American Legion. He died Monday, August 14, 2006 in his residence.
Survivors include his wife, Jane Granger of Reeves; 2 sons, Roy J. Granger Jr. of Kinder & John Granger of Lake Charles; daughter, Carmen G. McLeod of Kinder; 2 brothers, Timothy J. Granger Sr. of Fenton & Anthony Granger of Lake Havasu AZ; sister, Esther M. Fontenot of Reeves; 7 grandchildren & 1 great grandchild.
Mr. Granger is preceded in death by his parents, Harold & Rena Granger and brother, Raymond Granger.
