Kinder- Funeral service for Ross John, 22, will be held Saturday, December 20, 2008 at 2p.m. at Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. John Cernek will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Luke Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Friday from 5pm-10pm with a singing service at 7pm. Visitation will continue Saturday at 8am until time of service.
Ross was a native & resident of Kinder. He was a talented boxer who was a two time Jr. Olympic, and a two time Golden Glove winner. He also went to tryouts for the Olympics. Ross enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding horses. He passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2008.
Survivors include his parents, Winston & Gretchen John; companion & mother of his children, Melanie Martel of Kinder; three daughters, Natalie, Ava, & Kenzley John; three brothers, Larry John of Kinder, Terry John of Kinder, Phillip John of Elton; sister, Shana John of Kinder; host nieces & nephews.
Preceded in death by his brother, Owen Wade John.
