Kinder-A Mass of Christian Burial honoring Rosemond Gerald Bushnell, 54, will be held at 11 o'clock a.m. on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Kinder. Rev. Fr. Allan Trouille will officiate. Gerald's family will host a private inurnment service at St. Michael Cemetery in Kinder at future date.
Gerald's family will receive friends and visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, from 9-11 o'clock a.m. Rosary will be at 10 o'clock a.m.  All of Gerald's arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder.
Gerald was a loving husband, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a devoted husband to his wife Estella for 10 years. Gerald was a man of strong faith and very proud of his Catholic heritage. He worked very hard as a truck driver to provide for his family. He loved and adored his family and cherished every memory he made with them. Gerald love to cook, and his fish court bullion and chicken fricassee will be missed by all. He was an avid outdoorsman where he loved to fish and hunt. He loved technology and was very advanced in his computer skills. He was a very loving person and will be forever missed and unconditionally loved by all who knew him.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Estella Bushnell of Lawton, OK; three sisters, Sandra Bushnell and husband Sylvester of Houston, TX, Angie Broussard and husband Calvin of Westlake, LA, and Elmer Johnson of Lake Charles, LA; and a host of numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Gerald is preceded in death by his parents, Rosemond and Lovenia Bushnell; and one sister, Jane Berry.
