Fenton-Funeral service for Rose Kathryn (Kathy) Sharp, age 66, will be held Monday, May 20, 2013 at 10am in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church of Fenton. Rev. Roland Vaughn will officiate. Burial will follow in Lebleu Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
The family will begin receiving visitors on Sunday, May 19, 2013 in the Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel of Kinder between the hours of 3pm and 9pm. A wake service and rosary will be held at 7pm. Visitation will continue on Monday, May 20th at the funeral home from 8am until time of service.
Kathy was a devoted wife of 47 years. She was a loving mother and grandmother, as well. She enjoyed swimming with her nieces, nephews and family and she especially loved watching her granddaughter dance. Kathy was a joy to be around and she will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband, Danny Sharp of Fenton; one son-Klint Sharp of Fenton; two daughters-Tina Andrus and husband, T.J. of Sulphur and Tammy Hatley and husband, Michael of Wichita, Kansas; one brother-Tim Langley and wife, Rachel of Kinder; one sister-Pam Langley and husband, John Young of Lake Charles; three grandchildren-Troy, Whitney and Lacey; and one great grandchild-Kaden.
Kathy is preceded in death by her parents-Martha and Stuart Langley.
