A Mass of Christian Burial for Rosa Mae Courville, 83, will be held at St. Paul Catholic Church in Elton on Friday, July 11, 2025 at 2 o'clock p.m. Rev. Fr. Jose Vattakunnel will officiate. Burial service at St. Paul Cemetery in Elton to follow.
Family will receive friends and visitors on Friday, July 11, 2025 at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home in Elton from 8 o'clock a.m. until time of service. Rosary will be prayed at 1:15 p.m. All Rosa's arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder.

Rosa Mae Courville a lifelong resident of Elton was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved the Lord and was devoted to church. Rosa was an active member of the Ladies Alter Society and a member of Al-Anon. She was very involved in helping people with the 12 Step Program. Rosa would talk people through their problems over the phone for hours, sometimes.

She loved swimming in the pool, watching people, planting flowers in her yard, and watching faith-based TV shows.

She will be greatly missed and forever loved by all who knew her.
Those left to cherish Rosa's memory include her two daughters, Charlene Worcester of Robertsdale, AL and Sharon Johnson of Elton; five grandchildren, Casie Young of Robertsdale, AL, Victoria Young of Birmingham, Al, Matthew Sarver of Canrencro, Christopher Savant of Elton, and Magen Savant of Jennings; great grandchildren, Miya Young of Robertsdale, AL, Fallyn Sarver of Moss Bluff, and Aidan Savant of Jennings; great-great grandchild, Micah Young of Robertsdale, AL; two brothers, Bernie Janice of Lake Charles and Charles Janice of Scott; and a host of extended family members and friends.

Rosa was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Bernice Janice; husband, Wilbert Courville; and son, Michael Joseph Courville.
