Kinder-Funeral service for Mr. "Ronnie" Savant, 61, will be held Wednesday,
December 1, 2010 at 2PM in St. Philip Neri Catholic Church of Kinder. Father
Carlos Garcia and Father David Placette will officiate. Burial will follow in Indian Village Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 30, 2010 in Ardoin Funeral
Home in Kinder from 3-9PM with a vigil at 6:30PM followed by a Knights of
Columbus Rosary. Visitation will continue Wednesday 8AM until time of
Service.
Mr. "Ronnie" Savant passed away with his family by his side. He was
a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church of Kinder and was a member and
served as a Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus. He was known for being an impeccable carpenter and craftsman. He enjoyed gardening and working in his yard and most of all enjoyed his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Jeanne Redlich Savant of Kinder; mom, Bernice Savant of Kinder; son, Carroll Savant of Dallas, Tx.; daughters,
Aimee Carr and husband Ron of Denham Springs, La., D'Ane Chambers
and husband Chan of Denham Springs, La.; sisters, Chris Reon and husband
Joe of Iowa, La., Pat Broussard and husband Burt of Kinder, and Traci Kent
and husband Reagan of Kinder; brother, Randy Savant and wife Charlene of
Kinder, and Todd Savant of Kinder; grandchildren, Kristen and Kamryn
Chambers and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. "Ronnie" is preceded in death by his dad Harrison Joseph Savant.
