Kinder-Ronald "Ronnie" Ray Bellon, 69, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2024. Ronnie's family will host private memorial and inurnment services at a future date. All of Ronnie's arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder.

Ronald Ray Bellon, 69, passed away on March 31, 2024 at his home. He was born on May 10, 1954 to the late Sidney Lafleur and Hazel Bellon.

Ronnie Bellon lived a full life filled with complexities and depth. As a father, and individual he navigated through the challenges of life with resilience and strength. His unique perspectives on life definitely set him apart from anyone else I have ever known.

It would be hard for me to describe my fathers life without acknowledging the difficult times he brought upon himself. Though he was a misunderstood man in his younger years, those who knew him well could attest to the kind heart he had found when he got older.

Never in my life could I make up the crazy stories or the laughs he has given me. To most he leaves behind a legacy that is complicated, with many bridges that were burnt along the way. To me the legacy he leaves behind is that of a father, who did the best he could inspite of the rough life he lived. I will miss him, I will miss the outlandish stories he would tell, the happy look he would get if I bought him something he liked, and the fighter he was until the very end.
I think when someone dies we are all forced to ask ourselves did I do enough, and I think the answer will always be I could have done more.

Rest easy dad, I hope you are finally at peace.

May we remember him not only for the complexities that made him unique, but also for the depth of character that shaped his colorful journey.

Left to cherish his memory are his two loving sisters, Linda Guillory of Elton and Velma Champagne of Lafayette. He is preceded in death by his parents and twin brother, Donald Bellon.
