Kinder- Funeral service for Roland James Langley, 71, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Church. Rev. Jimmy White will officiate. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.
The family will receive visitors at Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Church from 10 a.m. until time of service Wednesday, June 7, 2017.
Roland was a loving brother. He enjoyed joking and cutting up. Roland was a giver and a helper that didn't mind helping anyone in their time of need. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church his whole life. Roland worked as a plumber and painter for the majority of his life along with other trades. He was a member of Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Church in Kinder. Roland will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left to cherish Roland's memory include his dear friend, Sandy Terrell Langley; two brothers, Carl Langley of Kinder and Charles Langley and wife, Crystal, of Dequincy; four sisters, Rosemary McKissack of Hartselle, AL, Helena Blanchette of Lake Charles, Windola Cowart and husband, Michael Sr. of Kinder, and Sharon Lanthier and husband, Dennis, of Sulphur.
Roland is preceded in death by his parents, Wilfred Langley and Shirley Langley.
