Reeves- Funeral service for Mr. Roger Dale Boswell, 61, will be held Saturday, May 29, 2010 at 2PM at Reeves Baptist Church. Bro. John Nichols, Bro. Kelly Craft, & Bro. Kent Bradham will officiate. Burial will follow in Cherry Grove Cemetery in Mittie under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
Visitation will be held in Reeves Baptist Church Friday from 1pm until.
Mr. Boswell was a resident of Reeves, member of Reeves Baptist Church, and was in auto sales for over 25 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Mr. Boswell passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2010 in his residence surrounded by his family.
He is survived by five children, Dayna Boswell Matt and husband Shane of Reeves, Brandon Walker Boswell and wife Mona of Reeves, Bradley Paul, Jarred Michael & Joshua David Boswell all of Reeves; brother, Leslie Boswell & wife Pat of Lake Charles; two sisters, Joan Gauthier & husband Ron of Lake Charles, Keitha Farmer and husband Rob of Sulphur; three grandchildren, Shaina Brianne, Ashlyn Patrice, and Tristan Jay-Wilson Matt.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Pauline Holt Boswell & Elmer Jay Boswell; two brothers, Ronnie Boswell and Jonathon Boswell; sister, Janice Boswell.
Mr. Boswell was a father and Poppa who will be greatly missed by his children and grandchildren.
